Client Journey

Consultation Process:

The first stage of treatment is the consultation process. This will involve an in-depth discussion about your requirements, what you hope to achieve from your desired treatment and your suitability. We will also discuss your skin type, design and colour options and I will explain, in as much detail as possible, how the procedure is performed.

Optional Patch Test:
This will test for any potential allergies/reactions to the anaesthetic cream or the pigment (this is extremely rare).

The procedure itself will take approximately 1-1.5 hrs to complete but varies from person to person and is dependent on which procedure you are having. An anaesthetic cream will be applied to the area prior to treatment and then a specialist facial tattooing machine will gently place pigment into the skin.

*Please be aware that just after treatment, the area will look about 40{5598c76af8ab568685f3b6b8695d602bc6070e041138e4dc2b0bd480b2c1ed55} darker but this will fade over a period of 4-5 days leaving you with the colour agreed upon during the consultation process.

If you are having an eyeliner treatment, eyes may be slightly swollen post-treatment and it is not recommended to drive a vehicle immediately afterwards.

Aftercare will be discussed in full at the consultation stage and then again after treatment. You will also be provided with an aftercare sheet to take home with you. It is extremely important that the aftercare instructions are followed as this will ensure the optimum result and longevity of the treatment.
*please note – Rhoida Lewis Semi Permanent Make-Up Artist will take no responsibility for clients who do not follow or adhere to the aftercare advice given.

Post-treatment follow-up:

The post-treatment follow-up appointment is simply to add more pigment, if necessary, to the treated area. This usually takes place 4-12 weeks after your first treatment and ensures longevity. Please allow approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
